Mail-In Repair Service for Customers Outside of New York

Our Mail-In Repair Service brings expert to you no matter where you are in the U.S. At iFix New York, we specialize in electronics repairs, delivering high-quality service that many local shops simply can’t match.

Please follow these steps for mail-in repair.

Pack Your Device Well

Before sending your device, ensure it is safely packaged to avoid any damage during transit. Wrap the device in bubble wrap or a similar protective material, and place it in a sturdy box. It’s recommended to use a box that’s slightly larger than the device to allow for sufficient cushioning.

Include Your Contact Details

In the box, include a piece of paper with your Name, Email, Phone number, Return Address, and a brief description of the problem you’re experiencing with the device. This information will help us create a new service ticket for your device repair.

Ship Your Device to Us

Once your device is securely packaged, use the post service that offers tracking. Send it to:

Get Repair Estimate

Upon receipt of your device, we will create a new ticket and send you a text message and email with your ticket number. Our team will inspect your device and provide an estimate for the repair within 2-5 days in most cases.

Approve Your Repair

If you approve the estimate, we will begin the repair process. If you choose not to proceed with the repair, we will send your device back to you. Regardless of your decision, you will now have a clear understanding of the issue with your device.

Conduct Payment

Once the repair is complete, we will notify you to make payment via Zelle or PayPal. Please note that the client is responsible for the return shipping cost, whether the device is repaired or not (it’s a $25 fee for shipping and handling for most average sized laptops, phones and  tablets)

Get Your Device Back

After we receive your payment, we will ship the device back to you. All our repairs come with a standard 30-day warranty unless otherwise specified. This gives you the confidence and peace of mind knowing that we stand behind our work.
